Program Details

I. Summer Program : High School Bridge Program

Program Information: The program includes 5 subjects: Math, ELA, Biology, Science and History over 4 weeks. Total 8 classes per week, 8 classes per subject.

Date: August | 4 weeks
Time: Mon-Thurs | 6 PM - 9 PM EST
Instructor: Algebra 2 : Alex; ELA : Angelina; Biology : Bill; History : Mason;
Algebra II : Eric and Florina; Science : Grace, Bill and Alethea
Fee: $299 (We will donote all net income to schools and charities)

II. Annual Program : Mentorship Program

Program Information: Join us on a fascinating educational journey through our upcoming series of events, designed to guide and inspire students on their academic path. Each month brings insightful topics and expert advice to enhance your learning experience:

In 2025, Impact Learners team was nominated as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society ("LLS") Student Visionaries of the Year of 2025 and will raise fund through mentorship program. Welcome to join Mentorship Program by donating $25 directly to LLS through following links.

In 2024, Impact Learners team raised and donated $1770 to LLS through Impact Learners 2024 Mentorship Program.

III. Summer Program : Extracurricular Courses


3.1) SAT Math Practice for Common Errors

Program Information: Our experienced instructors will guide students through a variety of practice problems, ensuring they develop a strong foundation in key areas such as algebra, geometry, and data analysis. By participating in our small group sessions, students will benefit from personalized attention and engaging discussions, fostering an environment that encourages growth and confidence in their mathematical abilities. Whether you're just beginning your SAT preparation journey or looking to fine-tune your skills, this class offers a valuable opportunity to improve your performance on the math portion of the SAT exam.

Date: August, weekly 2-hour small group sessions
Time: Sundays | 1-2 PM or 2-3 PM EST
Target Audience: Students entering grades 10-11

Fee: $10 per class


3.2) ISEE All Levels (Vocabulary, Reading, and Math)

Program Information: We are excited to introduce our ISEE All Levels (Vocabulary, Reading, and Math) course, specifically designed to help students excel in the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) for lower & upper level admissions. This comprehensive program focuses on strengthening students' vocabulary, reading comprehension, and mathematical skills, which are essential components of the ISEE test. By participating in our small group sessions, students can enjoy an interactive and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and confidence. Whether your goal is to gain admission to a prestigious private school or simply to strengthen your academic foundation, our ISEE Lower & Upper Level course offers an invaluable opportunity to enhance your performance and achieve your educational aspirations.

Target Audience: Students entering grades 6-8 preparing to apply for private schools

4.2) The Youth CFA Series

Program Highlights: Empower the next generation of financial leaders with our innovative Youth CFA Series course focused on economic empowerment. Tailored for young minds eager to explore the world of finance, this program provides a solid foundation in key economic principles, investment strategies, and financial literacy essential for success in the modern economic landscape.

4.3) K-Pop Dance Experience

Program Highlights: Step into the vibrant world of K-Pop dance with our dynamic course designed to immerse you in the energetic and captivating dance culture of Korean popular music. Drawing inspiration from contemporary trends and iconic moves, this course offers a unique opportunity to learn, express, and groove to the beats of K-Pop.

Explore the essence of K-Pop dance through a series of engaging sessions that focus on choreography, style, and performance. From mastering intricate moves to embodying the rhythm and spirit of K-Pop, participants will experience a fusion of hip hop, jazz, and expressive movements that define this cultural phenomenon.

4.4) Chess Workshop

Free Programs


5.1) Math Tutoring Is Going Online

Program Period: School Years 2023-2024

Impact Learners, a local student-led nonprofit organization, is bringing its math tutoring program online, aiming to reach out to students who need help wherever they live. The free program takes place on Saturdays, from 9 to 10 p.m., and is targeted towards students in grades K-10. The calendar will be updated monthly. Impact Learners was founded by Angelina Wang, Alex Wang, Bill Sun and Sophie Wang, Other officers include Mason Kong. Our volunteers seek to assist other students with their math questions. "Our tutoring program will be hosted on Zoom, open to all the students around the world," said Angelina. "A Zoom link will be shared upon your registration."


5.2) Math Buddies Fall Weekly Gathering - AMC10/12 Prep

Dates: Sundays 2-3PM In Sep and Oct 2023 and 2024

Impact Learners hosted a series of weekly AMC10/12 Prep sessions at Millburn Library/also hosted on Zoom, aimed at preparing students for the upcoming AMC tests in November.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Impact Learners Buddies Alex Wang, Angelina Wang, Florina Zhu, Eric Liang and Sophie Wang, more and more students improved their confidence in math competition and qualified for the AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examination).

We are excited to witness the growth and success of our students, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to fostering mathematical excellence in the future.

3) Volunteer Events:

We have some exciting volunteer opportunities coming up over the next couple of months throughout 2023 year. Please sign up through the following link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44AFA723A7FCC61-impact

We are organizing several volunteer events in the local communicty before school starts. The events will take place from 1 pm to 3 pm on the following Tuesdays: 8/22, 8/23, and 8/29. The location is 31 Evans Terminal Rd, hillsides, 07205. Activities will include sorting food, assembling food boxes, packing pasta, and prepping food to be distributed. Participants must be aged 12 and above.

These events can also serve as great social events since everyone will be around the same age group. We hope that the children will actively participate in these activities. Participation in such activities can cultivate many soft skills, including teamwork, coordination, and communication abilities.

For each event, we will assign some responsibilities to the volunteer students, allowing everyone to take turns practicing leadership, and collectively improving and progressing.
